Atilano Monico was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Freddy Gonsalve capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Freddy Gonsalve really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Candido Sasoin fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meseta FC's protests and gave Candido Sasoin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Meseta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Sasoin to maneuver through the defense. Atilano Monico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Lizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Atilano Monico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Ioritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Ioritz in the 41st minute of play forced Meseta FC's goalkeeper Atilano Monico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilano Monico made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ramiro Lizar sent off a good shot on target. Ramiro Lizar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Atilano Monico made a huge save. 45 minutes into the match, Meseta FC's goalkeeper Atilano Monico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Lizar. Geronimo Arnas's late challenge caught a Rufino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geronimo Arnas helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmo Pires to make the kick off. Ramiro Lizar scored 4-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atilano Monico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atilano Monico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Lehior in the 63rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Meseta FC defense, Ramiro Lizar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilano Monico. The Meseta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilano Monico should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Rufino's goalkeeper Aurelio Udalaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Pereyra. Hugo Rudqvist hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Aurelio Udalaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Arlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ramiro Lizar scored 6-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atilano Monico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ramiro Lizar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rufino's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Lizar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Monico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Arnas in the 86th minute of play forced Rufino's goalkeeper Aurelio Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Meseta FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Geronimo Arnas hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Rufino players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
