Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hernan Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Gonsalve, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A collision led to Rufino getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Freddy Gonsalve hit a great ball. Sergio Ioritz might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernan Guerrero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Ioritz ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the game, Ramiro Lizar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hernan Guerrero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Rufino booed when Higuera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Higuera getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Candido Bastian hit a great ball. After 25 minutes, Candido Bastian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Higuera and the Rufino players grew even worse after the yellow card. Candido Bastian kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Hernan Guerrero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Lizar's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Gonsalve in the 27th minute of play forced Higuera's goalkeeper Hernan Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Higuera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Bastian to maneuver through the defense. Basilio Lehior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hernan Guerrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rufino's Sergio Ioritz got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Lizar in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Guerrero saved Higuera from getting behind. Hernan Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Gonsalve in the 39th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Tolga Aktemur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hernan Guerrero. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. Hernan Guerrero was a little too slow when Sergio Ioritz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramiro Lizar to make the kick off. Basilio Lehior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernan Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Lehior in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Basilio Lehior managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rufino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Lehior was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rufino's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Amado Lauren scored to the left of an out of position Aurelio Udalaitz, making the score, 3-1. Higuera were furious when Candido Bastian was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 73rd minute, Candido Bastian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Ioritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Basilio Lehior managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rufino's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Lehior was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Guerrero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Rufino's Aurelio Udalaitz got control of the ball when Paolo Benino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Higuera defense, Sergio Ioritz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Guerrero. The Higuera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Guerrero should have stopped the shot. Hernan Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Lehior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Lizar in the 88th minute of play. Sergio Ioritz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernan Guerrero having to make a save. After 92 played minutes, Rufino's Ladislao Iaki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hernan Guerrero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rufino reached it. Higuera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rufino the free kick. After a rather tough play, Higuera's Venancio Lia got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute Basilio Lehior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Rufino players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
