Cortadera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Scibilia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Cleto Eleder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dorival Veiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Tucumanao AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Cleto Eleder hit a great ball. Alfonso Scibilia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Silvanito having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Alfonso Scibilia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 36th minute, Tucumanao AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alfonso Scibilia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Tucumanao AFC's Abelardo Silvanito got control of the ball when Alfonso Scibilia tried to sneak it across the goal line.

52 minutes into the match, Tucumanao AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Rencio came free, but Abelardo Silvanito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tucumanao AFC's Abelardo Silvanito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Rencio in the 54th minute of play. Abelardo Silvanito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Cesaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Geronimo Ekain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romulo Cesaro missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 59 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Abelardo Silvanito right hand side. Dorival Veiga made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Mauro Cortez sent off a good shot on target. Mauro Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dorival Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, one of Cortadera:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dorival Veiga had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Geronimo Ekain's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Tucumanao AFC defense, Leon Rencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Silvanito. The Tucumanao AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Silvanito should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute Leon Rencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Silvanito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Cortez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Dorival Veiga made a huge save. Romulo Cesaro scored 2-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Silvanito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Romulo Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Silvanito having to interfere. When Igor Enmanuel fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tucumanao AFC's protests and gave Igor Enmanuel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tucumanao AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Igor Enmanuel hit a great ball. If Leon Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Silvanito having to interfere.
