If Roque Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Xabat struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Teo Nafarroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tapia. After having played for 25 minutes, Roque Iztal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tapia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Iztal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teo Nafarroa came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Tapia's Roque Iztal. But to his dismay, Roque Iztal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Roque Iztal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Teo Nafarroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Betadur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sergio Johans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Hugo Sabin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tapia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reyes the free kick. If Angel Nikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The Reyes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tapia were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roque Iztal to make the kick off. Vicente Xabat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teo Nafarroa having to make a save. In the 63rd minute, Paulo Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Fix scored 0-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teo Nafarroa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torgny Nyström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Nafarroa having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Victorio Betadur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Johans was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. The supporters of Tapia booed when Reyes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Chumo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Reyes getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Pascual Chumo hit a great ball. Victorio Betadur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Johans having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Reyes's goalkeeper Teo Nafarroa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Xabat. In the 91st minute Roque Iztal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Nafarroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reyes's Victorio Betadur got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaac Frederik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Johans having to interfere. Tapia played a much better game than Reyes and deserved their victory. The Reyes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
