In the 19th minute Feliberto Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliberto Austin in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Telmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hernan Rito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Matthew having to interfere.

Hernan Rito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andres Matthew having to make a save. 77 minutes into the match, Goyena's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Rito came free, but Andres Matthew reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Feliberto Austin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ciriaco Telmo, 2-1. Feliberto Austin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Ciriaco Telmo 85 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Aquiles Loiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Goyena had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
