In the 8th minute, Cristobal Egoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estopa2 Atletic Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 15 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Victoro notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Deportivo Almafuerte's Aldo Teodor. Aldo Teodor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristobal Egoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Teodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Egoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 23 played minutes Estopa2 Atletic Club got a freekick which was hit by Santo Cilio. Aldo Teodor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Gombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Victoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Aldo Teodor made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Estopa2 Atletic Club's Aldo Teodor threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristobal Egoi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Silvano Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Quilo having to interfere. A collision led to Estopa2 Atletic Club getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ricardo Gombal hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Deportivo Almafuerte's goalkeeper Aldo Teodor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fermin Efren. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Egoi got free with Aldo Teodor in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the game, Fermin Efren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aldo Teodor. Fermin Efren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristobal Egoi to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Egoi in the 53rd minute of play forced Deportivo Almafuerte's goalkeeper Aldo Teodor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Teodor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Egoi in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Deportivo Almafuerte's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Victoro came free, but Aldo Teodor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estopa2 Atletic Club's Ricardo Gombal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eriberto Larpe in the 59 minute of the game. 62 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Menendo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Estopa2 Atletic Club's Fermin Efren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Deportivo Almafuerte defense, Ezequiel Victoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Teodor. The Deportivo Almafuerte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Teodor should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Jonatan Hitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th match minute, Estopa2 Atletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Cilio to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Gombal kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Rigoberto Menendo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Estopa2 Atletic Club's Silverio Quilo didn't even have to move.
