In the 30th minute Eustaquio Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Cackitos FC's Danilo Colon threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eustaquio Francesco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aldo Mannuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Danilo Colon made a huge save. Higinio Laurentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Textex having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Atheltic Club de Arroyito got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Erramun. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Valery was the one to do the kick off. Rene Aguirre made in the 52nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jeronimo Florinio however managed to control. After 60 played minutes Cackitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Florinio. Higinio Laurentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Textex having to interfere. If Atilano Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Textex came out of the goal and Higinio Laurentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cackitos FC booed when Atheltic Club de Arroyito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Licerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Cackitos FC could leave the field as winners, despite Atheltic Club de Arroyito having more of the ball for most of the match.
