In the 15th match minute, Luján was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Ralondo to maneuver through the defense. Florencio Sotil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gerald Fournier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Luján supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching COLON FC's performance. The match ended with a win for COLON FC.
