Luisiana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cleto Guillen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Urquiza FC's Cleto Guillen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnoldo Cresencio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kléber Mangueira struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Arnoldo Cresencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urquiza FC. The supporters of Luisiana booed when Urquiza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Eneas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Tadeo Izotz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Casomiro skillfully saved the ball. Urquiza FC's Amador Belmiro got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Luisiana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Erramu to maneuver through the defense. In the 24thth minute of the game Kléber Mangueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luisiana's Arnoldo Cresencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amador Belmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonzalo Ikatz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes Luisiana got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Fernandes. Erubiel Erramu kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Kléber Mangueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoldo Cresencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kléber Mangueira ran back to his position shaking his head. If Marcos Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Cresencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Belmiro in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Urquiza FC were awarded a corner. Cleto Guillen went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cleto Guillen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnoldo Cresencio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kléber Mangueira was the one to do the kick off. Julio Casomiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Lucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After having played for 52 minutes, Amador Belmiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urquiza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Belmiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute Danilo Lucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Casomiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Casomiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Bernabel in the 59th minute of the match. Amador Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Cresencio having to interfere. Amador Belmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute, Kléber Mangueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnoldo Cresencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Julio Casomiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Lucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Danilo Lucero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luisiana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Luisiana getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Primitivo Sayvion hit a great ball. Eugenio Garci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Cresencio having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Eugenio Garci reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnoldo Cresencio. The goal made the score 1-2. Kléber Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kléber Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Luisiana's Arnoldo Cresencio got control of the ball when Kléber Mangueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Urquiza FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Luisiana throughout the match.
