Anselmo Napier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Pelagius, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Oscar Ostots's late challenge caught a Cochangasta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Ostots helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cochangasta booed when ROJO OTUP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Ostots didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Cordaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Anselmo Napier made a huge save. In the 19th minute Denis Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Enaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Enaut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Charro's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Casimiro Enaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Totakoxe in the 25th minute of play. Casimiro Enaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Idacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Sengrat hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Teofilo Cordaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cochangasta's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Cordaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Napier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Anselmo Napier managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Cochangasta's Teofilo Cordaro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 38th minute, Cochangasta's Jimeno Pelagius ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anselmo Napier. Anselmo Napier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Teofilo Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Totakoxe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cochangasta's Jimeno Pelagius in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ROJO OTUP's goalie prevented a goal. Jimeno Pelagius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Napier having to interfere. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind ROJO OTUP's goalkeeper Anselmo Napier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cochangasta's Enzo Abadia got a free kick in the 58th minute. Abelardo Totakoxe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Casimiro Enaut came out and tried to block the shot, but Abelardo Totakoxe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 59th minute. In the 65th minute Teofilo Cordaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Napier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofilo Cordaro in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Napier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anselmo Napier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Pelagius in the 69th minute of play. Jimeno Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Enaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Totakoxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th match minute, Cochangasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Fernado to maneuver through the defense. ROJO OTUP's Anselmo Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Cordaro in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Denis Idacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ROJO OTUP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Idacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
