Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Raul Avellaneda made the kick off and thus started the match. Hilario Cordero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Cordarryl having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carranza AFC's Genaro Petri got a free kick in the 7th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melchor Illan during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Genaro Petri charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genaro Petri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Genaro Petri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, Yannick Sourice was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chacarita Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carranza AFC the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Melchor Illan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carranza AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Illan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Goren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciro Viviano might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cesar Cordarryl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Viviano ran back to his position shaking his head. Freddy Goren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Fanuco in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Carranza AFC booed when Chacarita Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yannick Sourice didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute Melchor Illan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Fanuco might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Freddy Goren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gogo Fanuco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Romulo Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th match minute, Carranza AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Belo to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Gogo Fanuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Carranza AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Tebaldo to maneuver through the defense. Cesar Cordarryl acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rafael Saturnin. 43 minutes into the match, Carranza AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Avellaneda came free, but Cesar Cordarryl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romulo Belo lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gogo Fanuco to make the kick off. Gogo Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Goren having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Braulio Enaut got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Saturnino Maraman charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Maraman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Carranza AFC booed when Chacarita Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Maraman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gogo Fanuco's late challenge caught a Chacarita Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gogo Fanuco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Gogo Fanuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Avellaneda in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesar Cordarryl saved Carranza AFC from getting behind. Cesar Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Avellaneda in the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Chacarita Juniors's Freddy Goren got control of the ball when Gogo Fanuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute of the match Carranza AFC got a corner. Chacarita Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valentin Filipo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cayetano Gonchan took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesar Cordarryl. Cesar Cordarryl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After having played for 86 minutes, Raul Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacarita Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Avellaneda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 played minutes Carranza AFC got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Petri. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Avellaneda in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesar Cordarryl saved Carranza AFC from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Carranza AFC's Genaro Petri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Goren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Genaro Petri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
