In the 35th minute, Raimundo Isias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ariel Steven. The goal made the score 1-0. 40 minutes into the game, Raimundo Isias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ariel Steven. Raimundo Isias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Aquilino Luzea fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colegiales's protests and gave Aquilino Luzea a yellow card for diving instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Steven prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Raimundo Isias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The tension between the Magdalena AFC and the Colegiales players grew even worse after the yellow card. Magdalena AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
