Venancio Alvarez struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Gilberto Lobo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN JOSE FC. German Valentine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pastor Mark struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Gilberto Lobo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN JOSE FC. Gilberto Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Cristofol in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Venancio Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto Lobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Mark in the 43rd minute of play forced Mandingo's goalkeeper Gilberto Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SAN JOSE FC's zone, Alberto Normando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Javiar came out of the goal and Alberto Normando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Normando in the 67th minute of play forced SAN JOSE FC's goalkeeper Delmar Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match, Celestino Cristofol got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gilberto Lobo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Mandingo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Efrain Goren hit a great ball. If Celestino Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Cristofols short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Gilberto Lobo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th minute, Pastor Mark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alberto Normando came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Mandingo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Normando couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celestino Cristofol got free with Gilberto Lobo in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SAN JOSE FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
