Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 2 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Qwinton. Celso Larpe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejandro Meder having to make a save. 7 minutes into the match, Riverzone's Celso Larpe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Meder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 13 minutes, Tom Laur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riverzone and the Leones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Riverzone got a freekick which was hit by Tom Laur. 18 minutes into the match, Riverzone's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Qwinton came free, but Fermin Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Riverzone's Gert Staffelbach got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejandro Meder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeo Behe went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Leones FC's Alejandro Meder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Larpe in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Alonzo Beti got a free kick in the 30th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Celso Larpe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejandro Meder. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Larpe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 40 minutes, Gert Staffelbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riverzone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Staffelbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gert Staffelbach came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Riverzone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gert Staffelbach couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute, Celso Larpe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Riverzone were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Larpe made a kick off. Leones FC's Alejandro Meder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. Celso Larpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Alejandro Meder successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 64th minute, Celso Larpe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riverzone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Celso Larpe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejandro Meder having to make a save. Alejandro Meder was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tom Laur showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 70 minute of play. In the 73rd minute Tadeo Behe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Meder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Tadeo Behe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riverzone's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Behe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Meder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Beti to maneuver through the defense. Tadeo Behe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Meder having to interfere. Celso Larpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alejandro Meder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Larpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Meder having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Leones FC's zone, Candido Rocio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Meder came out of the goal and Candido Rocio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Celso Larpe came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Riverzone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Larpe couldn't finish the play. After having played for 95 minutes, Celso Larpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riverzone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Larpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Riverzone's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
