In the 6th minute Angel Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 史强远 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Angel Enekoitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 史强远 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cesar Eliazar kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Higinio Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Ateneo Juvenil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Toro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Ateneo Juvenil's Jonas Balesio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Club Ateneo Juvenil from getting a goal against them. Ermanno Monti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jonas Balesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ermanno Monti came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Rompepelotas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermanno Monti couldn't finish the play. Ermanno Monti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rompepelotas booed when Club Ateneo Juvenil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Maxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermanno Monti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Ateneo Juvenil's Jonas Balesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lalla Valerón in the 36th minute of play. Honorio Tome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermanno Monti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Balesio having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ermanno Monti made the kick off in the second half. Jonas Balesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lalla Valerón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorio Tome might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Balesio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorio Tome ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lalla Valerón in the 58th minute of play forced Club Ateneo Juvenil's goalkeeper Jonas Balesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Ermanno Monti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Ateneo Juvenil's Jonas Balesio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Rompepelotas's Honorio Tome nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Balesio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Teodoro Rik's late challenge caught a Club Ateneo Juvenil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Rik helped the player get up and apologised. Teodoro Rik kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Toro in the 70th minute of play forced Rompepelotas's goalkeeper 史强远 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Angel Enekoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Higinio Toro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rompepelotas's Dario Gutxi got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ermanno Monti took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Balesio. Jonas Balesio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Honorio Tome hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Club Ateneo Juvenil's Higinio Toro got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victoriano Roldan kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ermanno Monti struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jonas Balesio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rompepelotas. Rompepelotas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
