Celso Roland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Ponc in the 14th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Teodosio James mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AD Ancho de espada and the Palantelén players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, AD Ancho de espada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio James to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th match minute, Palantelén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Teodosio James managed to get in a good position for a shot. AD Ancho de espada's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodosio James was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Bidun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st match minute, Palantelén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Argenis to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, AD Ancho de espada's Teodosio James got a free kick in the 27th minute. Vinicio Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier Bidun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Karlo in the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Rodolfo Diagur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AD Ancho de espada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Diagur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Vinicio Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 48 minutes into the match, AD Ancho de espada's Rodolfo Diagur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Bidun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinicio Karlo made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Palantelén's zone, Rodolfo Diagur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Bidun came out of the goal and Rodolfo Diagur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Marcones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Venancio Beturian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Javier Bidun. Palantelén's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rodolfo Diagur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Aristides Marcones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AD Ancho de espada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Marcones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Vinicio Karlo put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Javier Bidun.
