The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Macomitas getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ricardo Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Kaxen in the 12th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes LEONES NEGROS got a freekick which was hit by Albano Eleder. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Polo in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Endira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in LEONES NEGROS's zone, Celestino Eskuin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Endira came out of the goal and Celestino Eskuin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Cordaryal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gregorio Kaxen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermengildo Lano during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Macomitas's Cleto Polo in 32 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ruperto Endira guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Ricardo Oihenarte made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Edgardo Cordaryal sent off a good shot on target. After 42 minutes, Aquilino Gelacio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macomitas and the LEONES NEGROS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Macomitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Gelacio to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, one of Macomitas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Macomitas.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celestino Eskuin made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Gregorio Kaxen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Oihenarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 56 minutes, Gregorio Kaxen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LEONES NEGROS and the Macomitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Macomitas booed when LEONES NEGROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Kaxen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Polo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Ruperto Endira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Agustin Gabon charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustin Gabon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Macomitas booed when LEONES NEGROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Gabon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Polo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Endira having to interfere. A collision led to Macomitas getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Aquilino Gelacio hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Cordaryal in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Oihenarte saved Macomitas from getting behind. Hermengildo Lano hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Aquilino Gelacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macomitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Gelacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Endira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the game, Godfredo Dacio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LEONES NEGROS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macomitas the free kick. In the 77th minute, Godfredo Dacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Gregorio Kaxen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
