In the 3rd match minute, ELPOLLOMASRICO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Che to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Haitz in the 6th minute of play forced ELPOLLOMASRICO's goalkeeper Joel Mikelats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Nafarroa kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Miguel Ramond struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Joel Mikelats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo San Vicente. Constantino Che's late challenge caught a Deportivo San Vicente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Che helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ELPOLLOMASRICO's Constantino Che got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Haitz in the 12th minute of play forced ELPOLLOMASRICO's goalkeeper Joel Mikelats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Arnas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Tallia went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Deportivo San Vicente booed when ELPOLLOMASRICO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, ELPOLLOMASRICO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Hodei to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Marcos Bittencourt in the 30th minute really tested Humberto Arnas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 33rd minute Haroldo Minjaraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Mikelats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ELPOLLOMASRICO's zone, Miguel Ramond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Mikelats came out of the goal and Miguel Ramond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th match minute, ELPOLLOMASRICO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Che to maneuver through the defense. Joel Mikelats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ramond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Mikelats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Maxin in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Haitz in the 43rd minute of play forced ELPOLLOMASRICO's goalkeeper Joel Mikelats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Txanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Humberto Arnas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgilio Haitz to make the kick off. A collision led to Deportivo San Vicente getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Miguel Ramond hit a great ball. Gaudencio Frans struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Natalio Hechter kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, ELPOLLOMASRICO's goalkeeper Joel Mikelats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldo Minjaraz. Haroldo Minjaraz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Enrique Tallia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of ELPOLLOMASRICO booed when Deportivo San Vicente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gary Rush didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Durval Hermes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ELPOLLOMASRICO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo San Vicente the free kick. Durval Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Haroldo Minjaraz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joel Mikelats. Haroldo Minjaraz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Joel Mikelats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haroldo Minjaraz in the 81st minute. Joel Mikelats came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo San Vicente's Miguel Ramond. But to his dismay, Miguel Ramond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Gaudencio Frans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rdth minute of the game Enrique Tallia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo San Vicente's Humberto Arnas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Natalio Hechter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Mikelats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Maxin, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Deportivo San Vicente's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
