Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Areco FC's Gustavo Regis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aaron Vermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Monte in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Borys Malewicki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Areco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Borys Malewicki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Cordarrol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Regis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernst Klementsson hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. With 10 minutes on the clock, Rigoberto Turi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Rigoberto Turi kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Aaron Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Domiku in the 12th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Roman Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Larpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Cordarrol having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Monte in the 35th minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Aaron Vermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Igor Domiku ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaron Vermudo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Maximo Karmel charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximo Karmel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aaron Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Monte, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Ulises Luke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roman Monte to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Alejo Refugio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th play minute Ernst Klementsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aaron Vermudo. 0-2. In the 66th minute, Ialmonchenko's Ernst Klementsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 75th minute, Borys Malewicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st match minute, Ialmonchenko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 82 minutes, Ulises Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Areco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Luke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 83 played minutes Ialmonchenko got a freekick which was hit by Dobromir Gruchacz. Ialmonchenko's Tomas Cordarrol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Malewicki in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Ialmonchenko getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Igor Domiku hit a great ball. Borys Malewicki scored 1-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Cordarrol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
