The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico GAL's goalkeeper Blas Federigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Gaspar Kaiet came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Smirnoff FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Kaiet couldn't finish the play. Gaspar Kaiet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Blas Federigo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 15thth minute of the game Gaspar Kaiet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico GAL's Blas Federigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 17 played minutes Club Atletico GAL got a freekick which was hit by Airidas Rudaitis. In the 19th minute, Salvador Juvenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blas Federigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaspar Kaiet in the 20th minute. A collision led to Club Atletico GAL getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Valentin Polentzi hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, Club Atletico GAL's Sly Dimmock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucio Astrada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Lamberto in the 33rd minute of play forced Smirnoff FC's goalkeeper Lucio Astrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Airidas Rudaitis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico GAL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Airidas Rudaitis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Smirnoff FC's Nestor Natanael got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaspar Kaiet struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Blas Federigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smirnoff FC. In the 43rd minute, Ariel Lamberto made a precise shot to the right of Lucio Astrada. Smirnoff FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half Club Atletico GAL were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaspar Kaiet made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Gaspar Kaiet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Federigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Lamberto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucio Astrada having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Kaiet in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blas Federigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anastasio Txerran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Blas Federigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fernando Quintana fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Smirnoff FC's protests and gave Fernando Quintana a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Smirnoff FC's Fernando Quintana got a free kick in the 70th minute. Sly Dimmock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucio Astrada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Lucio Astrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sly Dimmock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sly Dimmock struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Lucio Astrada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico GAL. The Smirnoff FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Atletico GAL's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Atletico GAL.
