Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pastor Amor took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Prospero Timo fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carranza's protests and gave Prospero Timo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Prospero Timo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Pastor Amor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hércules Corrientes C. F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Amor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Roland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the game, Emilio Frasquito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carranza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hércules Corrientes C. F. the free kick. 21 minutes into the match, Carranza's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Amor came free, but Everardo Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hércules Corrientes C. F.'s Pastor Amor in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Everardo Roland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st match minute, Carranza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Frasquito to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelo Dodorol to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carranza's goalkeeper Everardo Roland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Everardo Roland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Larpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play, Carranza's Basilio Palos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberto Nayely was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emilio Frasquito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Norberto Nayely tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everardo Roland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Cordeal in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Carranza's Basilio Palos got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Fabio Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Cordeal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Everardo Roland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Pastor Amor fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Everardo Roland, passed just outside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Amor in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Roland saved Carranza from getting behind. Everardo Roland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Amor, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Hércules Corrientes C. F.'s Fabio Cordeal got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Carranza's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Amor came free, but Everardo Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Ildefonso Larpe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Everardo Roland. The goal made the score 1-2. Hércules Corrientes C. F.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
