Dalmacio Cebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Peter Swift made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, A. C. Parque Telmo's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Uxio came free, but Peter Swift reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Swift made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmacio Cebo in the 15th minute. If Joel Peio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Abadie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Baudelio in the 19th minute of play. When Arsenio Baudelio came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the A. C. Parque Telmo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Baudelio couldn't finish the play. Joel Peio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patricio Abadie having to make a save. Peter Swift showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Uxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Rene Chaime notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of A. C. Parque Telmo's Peter Swift. Peter Swift was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arsenio Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Baudelio in the 37th minute of play forced Siján's goalkeeper Patricio Abadie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Parque Telmo's Peter Swift played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Llorenc in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, A. C. Parque Telmo's goalkeeper Peter Swift had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Chaime. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rene Uxio made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Siján's zone, Arsenio Baudelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Abadie came out of the goal and Arsenio Baudelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Peio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavino Etxepare hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Arsenio Baudelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Abadie having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, A. C. Parque Telmo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Gaitano to maneuver through the defense. Arsenio Baudelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patricio Abadie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arsenio Baudelio ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Celso Roland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Abadie was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Siján's Patricio Abadie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Siján from getting a goal against them. Eriberto Sandaili was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, one of A. C. Parque Telmo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 96th minute, Rene Chaime made a precise shot to the right of Peter Swift. A. C. Parque Telmo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The Siján support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
