The tension between the Los Wachiturritos and the Luján AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Genaro Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Gilberto Dalmai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Birila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute Jonatan Frisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Birila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Genaro Sal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto Dalmai might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melchor Birila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Dalmai ran back to his position shaking his head. Augusto Quintun hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Gilberto Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Luján AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Lisandro Olayo hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Gilberto Dalmai fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Melchor Birila came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Wachiturritos's Gilberto Dalmai. But to his dismay, Gilberto Dalmai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With an all-out effort, Los Wachiturritos's Melchor Birila threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilberto Dalmai, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonatan Frisco made a great header on Los Wachiturritos's corner, it was just that Luján AFC's Melchor Birila managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Gilberto Dalmai made the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Clementi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Birila having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Luján AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Austin. Moises Orlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Birila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Clementi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Los Wachiturritos getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Constantino Bixintxo hit a great ball. Luján AFC's Melchor Birila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Dalmai in the 74th minute of play. Gilberto Dalmai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marcelo Clementi came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Los Wachiturritos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Clementi couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Luján AFC's Timoteo Primo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Marcelo Clementi struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Melchor Birila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Wachiturritos. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Wachiturritos fully deserved thier win.
