Kurt Andberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Teodor having to interfere. Benigno Emesto hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Quinto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atilano Teodor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Bernabe Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Teodor having to interfere. When Hull City F.C.'s Romulo Vistruario, in the 9th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Hull City F.C.. Bernabe Gartzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hull City F.C.'s Atilano Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Andberg in the 15th minute of play. Bernabe Gartzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Atilano Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Emesto charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benigno Emesto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Hull City F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Emesto to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hull City F.C.'s goalkeeper Atilano Teodor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Kurt Andberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mirmidones were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Hull City F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernabe Gartzea took the corner. The corner led Mirmidones's Iker Bonifaco to fire away a dangerous shot which Atilano Teodor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Hull City F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Vistruario to maneuver through the defense. If Salvador Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mirmidones's Ricardo Uhin got control of the ball when Jimeno Tauro tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Vistruario in the 44th minute of play forced Mirmidones's goalkeeper Ricardo Uhin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hull City F.C.'s zone, Leopoldo Quinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Teodor came out of the goal and Leopoldo Quinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Ignazio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Hull City F.C. made a substitution. Leo Aresti replaced Bernabe Oxarra. In the 48th minute, Paulo Ignazio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
In the 56th minute Mirmidones were awarded a corner. Bernabe Gartzea went to the cornerflag to take it. Bernabe Gartzea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atilano Teodor having to make a save. Hull City F.C.'s Atilano Teodor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Hull City F.C. from getting a goal against them. Kurt Andberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Teodor having to interfere. Atilano Teodor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Gartzea in the 64th minute of play. After 65 minutes, Salvador Ihintza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mirmidones and the Hull City F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mirmidones's Salvador Ihintza got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, Ismael Ioritz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Atilano Teodor. The goal made the score 0-1. 73 minutes into the match, Hull City F.C.'s goalkeeper Atilano Teodor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernabe Gartzea. Bernabe Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mirmidones's Kurt Andberg got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Hull City F.C. defense, Bernabe Gartzea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilano Teodor. The Hull City F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilano Teodor should have stopped the shot. If Kurt Andberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernabe Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Teodor having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Romulo Vistruario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurt Andberg took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atilano Teodor. Atilano Teodor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Hull City F.C.'s Atilano Teodor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Hull City F.C. from getting a goal against them. Romulo Vistruario kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Hull City F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Vistruario. When the final whistle sounded Mirmidones left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hull City F.C..
