Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) COGOLLO FC's Gaston Vitin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of COGOLLO FC booed when Gogh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in COGOLLO FC's zone, Guilherme Cavalcante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niculae Durbacă came out of the goal and Guilherme Cavalcante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddy Urti hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Guilherme Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romulo Perfecto kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Modesto Arixo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the COGOLLO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Arixo couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Gogh's Christian Ramos got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ildefonso Rosario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Vitin's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The supporters of Gogh booed when COGOLLO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Gonza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ildefonso Rosario came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by COGOLLO FC's Modesto Arixo. But to his dismay, Modesto Arixo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gaston Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Rosario having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Gogh got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Neron. After a defensive mix-up in Gogh's zone, Gaston Vitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Rosario came out of the goal and Gaston Vitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niculae Durbacă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Elequemedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guilherme Cavalcante made a kick off. After 51 played minutes COGOLLO FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Gonza. Ildefonso Rosario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Arixo in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute Ignacio Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Durbacă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Guilherme Cavalcante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niculae Durbacă. COGOLLO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Cavalcante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Modesto Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute of the match Samuel Neron sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niculae Durbacă skillfully saved the ball. In the 68th minute, Renatinho Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Guilherme Cavalcante sped through COGOLLO FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Niculae Durbacă. The supporters of COGOLLO FC booed when Gogh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Eladio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Leguizamón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceferino Edwardo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When COGOLLO FC's Gaston Vitin in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gogh's goalie prevented a goal. Romulo Perfecto hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Ignacio Elequemedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gogh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Elequemedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Leguizamón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gaston Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 minutes, Carlos Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gogh and the COGOLLO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Gogh got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Barros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Passos in the 92nd minute of play forced Gogh's goalkeeper Ildefonso Rosario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes Gogh got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Cavalcante. Ignacio Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Niculae Durbacă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gogh fans cheered their team off the field, for while COGOLLO FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
