The referee showed Domingos Tello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd match minute, Nueva Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Tello to maneuver through the defense. Izydor Zdeb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Fernan Ladio made a huge save. Sergio Chesus kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Fernan Ladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Izydor Zdeb, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cristo Oihenarte hit a great ball. The supporters of Olimpo de Bahia Blanca booed when Nueva Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernan Maura kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernan Ladio. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Cristo Oihenarte hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Thomas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Segundo Handi. Segundo Handi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Nueva Chicago's Cristo Oihenarte in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalie prevented a goal. Alvaro Cordario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Ladio having to interfere. Rafael Behe hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Abdullah İplikçi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Fernan Ladio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sergio Chesus was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 37th match minute, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Montes to maneuver through the defense. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Segundo Handi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Oihenarte in the 39th minute of play. Segundo Handi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Oihenarte in the 45th minute of the match. Izydor Zdeb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Ladio having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Cristo Oihenarte made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Cristo Oihenarte notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Segundo Handi. Segundo Handi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the game, one of Nueva Chicago:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Olimpo de Bahia Blanca a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fernan Maura, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nueva Chicago's Fernan Ladio. 2-2. After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Nicanor Montes got a free kick in the 78th minute. Teobaldo Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Segundo Handi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernan Ladio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Izydor Zdeb's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Segundo Handi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Olimpo de Bahia Blanca from getting a goal against them. When Alvaro Cordario fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's protests and gave Alvaro Cordario a yellow card for diving instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
