In the 29th minute of the match, Celestino Cresenciano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Librado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 39th minute, Honorio Ezkerra had to leave the field with a concussion. After 39 minutes, Baltasar Jusepe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pilón AFC and the ★★★★Pueyrredon A.F.C ★★★★ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pilón AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Baltasar Jusepe hit a great ball. Sixto Tercero hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Prospero Libertad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Pilón AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvio Distiratsu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Prospero Libertad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Libertad in the 55th minute of play forced Pilón AFC's goalkeeper Pedro Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Cresenciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celestino Cresenciano struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Pedro Librado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★★★★Pueyrredon A.F.C ★★★★. Hipolito Sendoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Distiratsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 71st minute Prospero Libertad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Librado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pilón AFC's Baltasar Jusepe in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 77th minute, Silvio Distiratsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 played minutes ★★★★Pueyrredon A.F.C ★★★★ got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Cresenciano. Celestino Cresenciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Pedro Librado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Libertad might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Librado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prospero Libertad ran back to his position shaking his head. When ★★★★Pueyrredon A.F.C ★★★★'s Prospero Libertad in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pilón AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Pilón AFC's Pedro Librado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Libertad in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Celestino Cresenciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
