The supporters of Crucesita booed when Candelaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Naldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Uhin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Oinaz in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Candelaria's Timoteo Fe got a free kick in the 10th minute. Angel Uhin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Gombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Eustaquio Oinaz scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angel Uhin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Rodolfo Velasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Candelaria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 25th minute of the match Julio Haritzeder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cosme Savier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Eduino in the 27th minute of play forced Candelaria's goalkeeper Angel Uhin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Crucesita got a corner. Candelaria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guillermo Gombal ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Guillermo Gombal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angel Uhin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Oskitz in the 31st minute of play forced Candelaria's goalkeeper Angel Uhin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustaquio Oinaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Maximo Esquipula came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Candelaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Esquipula couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Cristian Lluterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel Uhin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Eduino in the 41st minute of play. Aquiles Alfonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Crucesita 's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Damian Tanio was slow to take the kick. During this time Candelaria's players had a chance to rest. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximo Esquipula stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 67 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Eduino came free, but Angel Uhin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Uhin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 78th match minute, Candelaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Casomiro to maneuver through the defense. Justino Casomiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Eduino came free, but Angel Uhin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candelaria's Angel Uhin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Oskitz in the 83rd minute of play. Leandro Gilen's late challenge caught a Crucesita 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
