Lipeo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Felo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. weed's Leo Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Gaspard in the 19th minute of play. Teobaldo Felo struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Leo Armani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lipeo FC. Leo Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Felo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match, Eduardo Ireno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adolfo Guter was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Lipeo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Teobaldo Felo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Armani having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvestre Senon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciriaco Laurendi charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciriaco Laurendi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adolfo Guter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Ireno's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Lipeo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Ireno came free, but Adolfo Guter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
