A collision led to Casquianos del Sur getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Casimiro Ixidor hit a great ball. If Hector Gagriel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laércio Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Lehen having to interfere. Zangalanga FC's Laércio Cearense suffered a concussion after 16 minutes and had to leave the field. Angelo Koldo's late challenge caught a Zangalanga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Koldo helped the player get up and apologised. Zangalanga FC made a substitution. Rosendo Gilen replaced Laércio Cearense. In the 17th match minute, Casquianos del Sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Koldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Sixto Ignazio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Zangalanga FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Hipolito Hechter hit a great ball. Jose Teofilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Celipe in the 33rd minute of the match. Rosendo Gilen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Zangalanga FC defense, Danilo Celipe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Teofilio. The Zangalanga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Teofilio should have stopped the shot. Rosendo Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Celipe to make the kick off. Silverio Erruki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 57 minutes of play, Casquianos del Sur's Danilo Celipe made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Teofilio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jose Teofilio made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Danilo Celipe sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the game, Celedonio Kismi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Zangalanga FC's Hector Gagriel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Zangalanga FC's Rosendo Gilen got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Jose Teofilio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 76th match minute, Casquianos del Sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Koldo to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Danilo Celipe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Teofilio. Zangalanga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Celipe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. With a little luck, Zangalanga FC's Jose Teofilio got control of the ball when Danilo Celipe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zangalanga FC's Jose Teofilio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Zangalanga FC from getting a goal against them. Rosendo Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Lehen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Gagriel in the 96th minute of play. The Zangalanga FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Casquianos del Sur to win.
