Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ildefonso Saturnin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ildefonso Saturnin in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Tolino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodolfo Pedroso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Tolino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Calfucurá 's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Apolo Roldanillo in the 7th minute. After taking down the ball on Calfucurá 's corner Rodolfo Pedroso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Melquiades Tolino quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Saturnin in the 8th minute of play forced Mecoyita's goalkeeper Melquiades Tolino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Gabriel Ostots got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roque Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Louis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mecoyita's Domingos Katia got a free kick in the 17th minute. Teo Checa hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Severino Liberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Melquiades Tolino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Ostots in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ildefonso Saturnin in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Tolino saved Mecoyita from getting behind. Melquiades Tolino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Saturnin in the 45th minute of the match. Melquiades Tolino didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Louis to make the kick off. Calfucurá 's Roque Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Louis in the 52nd minute of play. Gabriel Ostots's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roque Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play Mecoyita's Domingos Katia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 58th minute, Domingos Katia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gabriel Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gabriel Ostots managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mecoyita's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Ostots was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Mecoyita getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mario Azevedo hit a great ball. Lino Louis hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Severino Liberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Tolino having to interfere. If Ildefonso Saturnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ildefonso Saturnin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Tolino was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 80th minute of the match Calfucurá got a corner. Mecoyita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Apolo Roldanillo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Calfucurá 's Apolo Roldanillo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Melquiades Tolino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Pedroso in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Tolino saved Mecoyita from getting behind. In the 87thth minute of the game Ildefonso Saturnin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mecoyita's Melquiades Tolino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severino Liberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Tolino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Melquiades Tolino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ildefonso Saturnin's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Ildefonso Saturnin took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Tolino. Melquiades Tolino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Calfucurá 's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
