The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Pio got free with Ceferino Harri in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Lajos Kôvári hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Barrionuevo in the 10th minute of play forced Escobarense FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Eliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Laureano Hermelando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Eliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aureliano Barrionuevo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Eliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Hermelando in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Laureano Hermelando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jonathan Eliu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Barrionuevo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Eliu was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. If Ignacy Mirowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Escobarense FC booed when Graff F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Cisneros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Escobarense FC's Ignacy Mirowski got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ignacy Mirowski to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Escobarense FC got a freekick which was hit by Federico Aurken. With splendid footwork Laureano Hermelando arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-2 by the left pole in the game's 55th minute. Graff F.C's Ceferino Harri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacy Mirowski in the 59th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Aureliano Barrionuevo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Eliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Hermelando in the 72nd minute of play. When Victor Sandaili fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Escobarense FC's protests and gave Victor Sandaili a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Escobarense FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Victor Sandaili hit a great ball. After 76 minutes, Modesto Corderun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Escobarense FC and the Graff F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Graff F.C booed when Escobarense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Corderun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giovanni Cisneros hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Laureano Hermelando made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Eliu. Escobarense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Leopoldo Pio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Harri having to interfere. Graff F.C played a much better game than Escobarense FC and deserved their victory. The Escobarense FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
