Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gualeguaychú AFC's Clemente Gau started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cecilio Urti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Bertol in the 8th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Bertol in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cecilio Urti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lucas Bertol sped through Gualeguaychú AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cecilio Urti. 19 minutes into the game, Samuel Dominic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gualeguaychú AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vilela the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Vilela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Gualeguaychú AFC's Higinio Estevon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vilela. When Vilela's Daniel Figueiredo in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gualeguaychú AFC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Bertol in the 34th minute of play forced Gualeguaychú AFC's goalkeeper Cecilio Urti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualeguaychú AFC's Cecilio Urti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Figueiredo in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Nilmar Fonseca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cecilio Urti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 46th minute, Daniel Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Vilela's Lucas Bertol in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gualeguaychú AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelino Harri during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angelino Harri hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Vilela's Gaudencio Piarres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Gau in the 57th minute of play. When Epifanio Oinaz fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vilela's protests and gave Epifanio Oinaz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gualeguaychú AFC booed when Vilela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Oinaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimeno Raymundo took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaudencio Piarres. Gaudencio Piarres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 64 minutes into the match, Vilela's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Raymundo came free, but Gaudencio Piarres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gualeguaychú AFC's Clemente Gau in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vilela's goalie prevented a goal. In the 74th minute Lucas Bertol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Urti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, one of Gualeguaychú AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Delmiro Ioritz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Daniel Figueiredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cecilio Urti having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, Lucas Bertol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cecilio Urti. Gualeguaychú AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Bertol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Clemente Gau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaudencio Piarres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Gaudencio Piarres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Gau in the 93rd minute of play. Jimeno Raymundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gaudencio Piarres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Vilela's Daniel Figueiredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Urti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vilela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
