Lucas Bertol succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. After 30 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Soter. In the 31st minute, Daniel Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The long shot by Aristides Gartzen in the 35th minute really tested Gaudencio Piarres's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lucas Bertol's late challenge caught a Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 54 minutes, Daniel Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes in the game, Lucas Bertol fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Filiberto Bitxintxo having to interfere. If Daniel Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Eliseo Soter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Piarres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, Talleres's Eliseo Soter made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaudencio Piarres was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 78 played minutes Vilela got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Bertol. Federico Luke charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Vilela's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
