After some careless play in the Libertad FC defense, Santos Bernabel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualterio Gagriel. The Libertad FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Gagriel should have stopped the shot. Victoria's Santos Bernabel got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Santos Bernabel notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Libertad FC's Gualterio Gagriel. Gualterio Gagriel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santos Bernabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Gagriel having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Santos Bernabel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victoria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Santos Bernabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Santos Bernabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Victoria's goalkeeper Aldo Evarado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Aznaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Libertad FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Victoria the free kick. Rodolfo Aznaro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Everardo Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damian Vellito made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Santos Bernabel immediately put the ball in play. Everardo Lopes hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Libertad FC's Emilio Esquipula shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aldo Evarado but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Eliseo Gipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libertad FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Gipuzkoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Evarado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Aznaro to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Eliseo Gipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Bernabel took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualterio Gagriel. Gualterio Gagriel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Sixto Roano kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Victoria's Santos Bernabel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualterio Gagriel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Libertad FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Gagriel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Bernabel. Santos Bernabel in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gualterio Gagriel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Delmiro Bermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gualterio Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualterio Gagriel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Bernabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Santos Bernabel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santos Bernabel didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-5 via right post in the game's 77th minute. Victoria's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The supporters of Victoria booed when Libertad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Delmiro Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Victoria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Bermudo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Santos Bernabel notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Libertad FC's Gualterio Gagriel. Gualterio Gagriel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Santos Bernabel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualterio Gagriel was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Libertad FC's zone, Santos Bernabel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Gagriel came out of the goal and Santos Bernabel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
