In the 10th minute 彭亦朗 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joseph Bergström fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liogener's protests and gave Joseph Bergström a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Liogener got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Bergström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Rito in the 15th minute of play forced Golondrinas AFC's goalkeeper Moises Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Hulberto in the 16th minute of the match. Golondrinas AFC's Moises Delfino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Hulberto in the 20th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Jairo Maiorga in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Golondrinas AFC's Emiliano Ordono. Moises Delfino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseph Bergström went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleto Remicio during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Hulberto to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Gerardo Hulberto could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Moises Delfino however easily saved by the left post. In the 60th minute, Mauro Juvenal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Severiano Guter came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Golondrinas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Guter couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Golondrinas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when 彭亦朗 came free, but Moises Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golondrinas AFC's Emiliano Ordono got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Emiliano Ordono off the ground.
