Aston Birra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Camilo Confesor scored to the left of an out of position Benicio Abaunza, making the score, 1-0. After 13 minutes, Ruperto Hitzeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aston Birra and the Palomitas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Aston Birra getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ruperto Hitzeder hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, Aston Birra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Hitzeder to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Boni charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bonifacio Boni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Aston Birra getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bonifacio Boni hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes Aston Birra got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Boni. 31 minutes into the match, Aston Birra's goalkeeper Benicio Abaunza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camilo Confesor. 33 minutes into the match, Camilo Confesor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Abaunza. Aston Birra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camilo Confesor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 36th minute, Silvestre Gelacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40thth minute Camilo Confesor got a great chance to score trying to place the ball in the top left corner, but Benicio Abaunza was prepared and efficiently stopped the ball from getting in. In the 42nd minute, Orlando Gilesindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Abaurre hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Zeledon Aritza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Florinio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Camilo Confesor to make the kick off. Bonifacio Boni got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Bonifacio Boni hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Benicio Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Confesor in the 57th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Camilo Confesor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benicio Abaunza was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. With a little luck, Palomitas AFC's Hugo Florinio got control of the ball when Roberto Abaurre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Palomitas AFC made a substitution. Aaron Loco replaced Danilo Frechoso. The audience was convinced that Camilo Confesor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benicio Abaunza was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 78th minute, Camilo Confesor made a precise shot to the right of Benicio Abaunza. Aston Birra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
