Mauro Ramond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Florinio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Palomitas AFC's goalkeeper Hugo Florinio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Luiz Paulo Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Añelo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
