Spider Man's Angelino Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Hitz in the 16th minute of play. Angelino Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Tabor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spider Man's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cangrejillos the free kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andres Tabor to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Cangrejillos got a freekick which was hit by Dario Lixandro. In the 55th minute of the match Damaso Ladio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anier Hotz skillfully saved the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Spider Man's Elpidio Gaitan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 86th minute, Nemesio Salvidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
