Enrique Oro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 3rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Manuel Rayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Oro having to interfere. A collision led to Esperanza getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Francisco Llanos hit a great ball. After 20 minutes, Anacleto Curcio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arano and the Esperanza players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Arano booed when Esperanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Bortzaioriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Arano's Luis Salbatore got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Eliseo Nardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esperanza's Enrique Oro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Arano's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Nafarroa came free, but Aquiles Harriet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Victoriano Nafarroa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Alberto Cai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arano's Aquiles Harriet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 played minutes Esperanza got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Tabby. Victoriano Nafarroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Aquiles Harriet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Nafarroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Cai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aquiles Harriet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victoriano Nafarroa's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute Victoriano Nafarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Harriet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Eliseo Nardo made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Esperanza's Gualterio Pacho got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Manuel Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Harriet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Cai showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 57 minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match Arano got a corner. Esperanza's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amado Odon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice moves Victoriano Nafarroa could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Aquiles Harriet however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Rayman in the 73rd minute of play forced Esperanza's goalkeeper Enrique Oro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Omero kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Esperanza's Enrique Oro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Nardo in the 76th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Alberto Cai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esperanza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arano the free kick. Alberto Cai hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The Esperanza players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Arano from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
