Eustacio Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Mergildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Marcial Lertxun got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A hard shot 19 in the game by Marcial Lertxun from a close distance when the talented Amadeo Rubio managed to make a qualified save. Tionso's players were relieved. Amadeo Rubio had great luck who in the 27thth minute grab hold of the ball when Tiburcio Sotil from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. A collision led to Tionso getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ernesto Illart hit a great ball. Amadeo Rubio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Lertxun in the 33rd minute. Marcial Lertxun's late challenge caught a Tionso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcial Lertxun helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Uturungo FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marcial Lertxun hit a great ball. Saturnino Mergildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Nuñez having to interfere. If Saturnino Mergildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteve Frederik to strike the kick off in the second half. If Marcial Lertxun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Saturnino Mergildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 played minutes Tionso got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Adrio. In the 65thth minute of the game Marcial Lertxun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tionso's Amadeo Rubio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eustacio Nuñez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saturnino Mergildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Nuñez having to interfere. Esteve Frederik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
