Cordoba Athletic's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victorino Pereyra in the 4th minute. The corner ended in Victorino Pereyra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atletico Mata Negros's Ahmet Ziya Pınarbaşı did a great save. Ahmet Ziya Pınarbaşı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prudencio Camerino in the 5th minute. When Hernan Ikatz came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Cordoba Athletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Ikatz couldn't finish the play. Cordoba Athletic's Victorino Pereyra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ahmet Ziya Pınarbaşı in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Club Atletico Mata Negros's Ahmet Ziya Pınarbaşı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Mata Negros from getting a goal against them. Tomás Cuarto's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Mata Negros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Cuarto helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Cordoba Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Cuarto. Club Atletico Mata Negros's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Prudencio Camerino 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 35 minutes, Hernan Ikatz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cordoba Athletic and the Club Atletico Mata Negros players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Cordoba Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Ikatz to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute Patricio Teyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Christos Papadimas made the kick off in the second half. Christos Papadimas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Ziya Pınarbaşı came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Cordoba Athletic's Prudencio Camerino. But to his dismay, Prudencio Camerino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Cordoba Athletic's Nicolas Shantala got a free kick in the 67th minute. A collision led to Club Atletico Mata Negros getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Angelo Vela hit a great ball. Ahmet Ziya Pınarbaşı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Camerino in the 89th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Club Atletico Mata Negros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Vela to maneuver through the defense.
