Emiliano Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Cheche to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Onbera's late challenge caught a Deportivo Español's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Onbera helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Famatanca AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Onbera to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Famatanca AFC defense, Samuel Eate kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionisio Paulin. The Famatanca AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionisio Paulin should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Deportivo Español getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Lisandro Luix hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Famatanca AFC's Jesus Kinsen got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Deportivo Español made a substitution. Domingo Guillem replaced Samuel Eate. Ciro Natal hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Famatanca AFC's Emiliano Katia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. The Deportivo Español fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Famatanca AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
