In the 15th minute Isaac Tibalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 胡振辰 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Estudiantes de La Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 陶星响 to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Matei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 胡振辰 was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The Vergara fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Vergara's Eulalio Matei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Arnulfo Argoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnoldo Marques kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patricio Ereinotz. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. After 35 played minutes Estudiantes de La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Marques. A collision led to Estudiantes de La Plata getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Arnoldo Marques hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 陶星响 in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Ereinotz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patricio Ereinotz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Bernal, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 胡振辰 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eulalio Matei went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 胡振辰 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Tibalt in the 62nd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Agustin Acuña in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Estudiantes de La Plata's Antonello Menichini. Eulalio Matei in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 胡振辰, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 75th minute, Teodosio Bernal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patricio Ereinotz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 陶星响 in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Ereinotz saved Vergara from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, 陶星响 put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Patricio Ereinotz. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de La Plata's Roman Calisto got a free kick in the 88th minute. A collision led to Estudiantes de La Plata getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Arnoldo Marques hit a great ball. In the 93rd match minute, Vergara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocco Acciaro to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the game, Manole Răcănel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Estudiantes de La Plata's Fabricio Baumar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Vergara were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
