The long shot by Serafino Maraman in the 29th minute really tested Arsenio Barbosa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Klement Sokol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximo Cresenciano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Clemente Cugat kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Klement Sokol sped through Sporting Punta Alta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maximo Cresenciano. The Sporting Punta Alta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tunas were winning 0-2.
