Clodoveo Mundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Piearres having to interfere. Igor Eskuin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Igor Eskuin kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Eskuin in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Piearres saved Manchester United from getting behind. After some careless play in the Manchester United defense, Igor Eskuin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Piearres. The Manchester United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Piearres should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United's goalkeeper Marcial Piearres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clodoveo Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marcial Piearres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Murquilla FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Murquilla FC's Igor Eskuin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fernando Gonsalve kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Benedicto Menendo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Salvador Arotza. Benedicto Menendo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 44thth minute of the game Igor Eskuin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester United's Marcial Piearres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clodoveo Mundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Piearres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Eskuin in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Leon Eder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Igor Eskuin sped through Manchester United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcial Piearres. In the 60th minute of the match Teodoro Rameriz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Salvador Arotza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Christian Iago dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcial Piearres, 1-5. Salvador Arotza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Eder in the 68th minute of play. When %teams%'s Igor Eskuin was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-6 just inside the left pole, 71 minutes into the game. Marcial Piearres was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Murquilla FC's Igor Eskuin got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 83 minutes, Leon Eder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Eder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salvador Arotza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Menendo in the 86th minute of the match. Murquilla FC's Igor Eskuin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
