After a rather tough play, Club Atletico San Lorenzo's Manuel Millrick got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute, Matías Suarez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Silvestre Transito, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, Toulon FC's Silvestre Transito got control of the ball when Natalio Quilo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pascual Odol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Baumar having to interfere. Ovidio Baumar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Lopes struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ovidio Baumar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toulon FC. In the 36th match minute, Club Atletico San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Cordarrol to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Ritchie hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Gualterio Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Lopes to make the kick off. Ovidio Baumar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pascual Odol showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Matías Suarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Silvestre Transito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matías Suarez during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Toulon FC defense, Elias Abaunza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Transito.
