Bernabe Bilbo charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With his leg Cornelio Urtungo managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Racso AFC's Baldomiro Hug fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Genaro Boni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes, Baldomiro Hug made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Runciman's Cornelio Urtungo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Runciman's Cornelio Urtungo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Runciman from getting a goal against them. Genaro Boni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Eliazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cornelio Urtungo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Hug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Urtungo having to interfere. Ambrosio Beila hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Racso AFC's Baldomiro Hug sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cornelio Urtungo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lino Quinteros hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Nunez Telmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomiro Hug stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Racso AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lino Quinteros hit a great ball. Nunez Telmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Rivas couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute Roberto Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Boni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes Runciman got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Eudoxio. The supporters of Runciman booed when Racso AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Quinteros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Roberto Rivas sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Genaro Boni threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Roberto Rivas this time. Adrian Jaunzuria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genaro Boni was a little too slow when Roberto Rivas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 77th match minute, Racso AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Gutxi to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes Runciman got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Balesio. After a defensive mix-up in Racso AFC's zone, Roberto Rivas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Boni came out of the goal and Roberto Rivas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Racso AFC booed when Runciman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Raebert didn't get a good kick on the ball.
