Prudencio Baumar started the match with the kick off. Olimpik Columbia FC.'s Jorge Constancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Theobald in the 5th minute of play. Paulino Cristos kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Olimpik Columbia FC.'s Jorge Constancio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Olimpik Columbia FC. from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Donato Larpe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes De La Plata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to Estudiantes De La Plata getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Eulalio Theobald hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Ramos in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nunez Panpili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Olimpik Columbia FC. fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Olimpik Columbia FC.'s Adolfo Ramos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice moves Donato Larpe could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Jorge Constancio however easily saved by the left post. Adolfo Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Panpili having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Flavio Olentzaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olimpik Columbia FC.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Olentzaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Panpili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Constancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Theobald in the 39th minute of the match. With a little luck, Olimpik Columbia FC.'s Jorge Constancio got control of the ball when Mario Burutzagi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luciano Guillerme kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 80th match minute, Olimpik Columbia FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Gora to maneuver through the defense. When Benicio Gaufred came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Estudiantes De La Plata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Gaufred couldn't finish the play. Estudiantes De La Plata's Mario Burutzagi got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute Adolfo Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Panpili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Flavio Olentzaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpik Columbia FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Olentzaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Baumar in the 88th minute of play forced Olimpik Columbia FC.'s goalkeeper Jorge Constancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpik Columbia FC.'s Adolfo Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Ramos in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nunez Panpili saved Estudiantes De La Plata from getting behind. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
