Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Amadeo Prejun made the kick off and thus started the match. 9 minutes into the match, Emiliano Beat notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lunarejos FC's Humberto Benvide. Humberto Benvide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Galarza's Wilfredo Azevedo got control of the ball when Erasmo Jobo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Erasmo Jobo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfredo Azevedo was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Lunarejos FC defense, Amadeo Prejun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Benvide. The Lunarejos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Benvide should have stopped the shot. Erasmo Jobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Azevedo having to interfere. Lunarejos FC's Humberto Benvide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Prejun in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Amadeo Prejun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Humberto Benvide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 34 minutes, Erasmo Jobo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunarejos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Jobo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lunarejos FC's zone, Delmar Oton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Benvide came out of the goal and Delmar Oton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Rolando Umbruso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Lunarejos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Oton came free, but Humberto Benvide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Prejun in the 44th minute of play forced Lunarejos FC's goalkeeper Humberto Benvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes Lunarejos FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Jobo. After the first half Galarza were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Erasmo Jobo made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Delmar Oton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Benvide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Jobo's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Lunarejos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Oton came free, but Humberto Benvide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lunarejos FC's Maximiliano Gutierrez got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Amadeo Prejun came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Humberto Benvide could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Beat in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Benvide saved Lunarejos FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Jobo in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diego Llorienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Wilfredo Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 74 in the game by Amadeo Prejun from a close distance when the talented Humberto Benvide managed to make a qualified save. Lunarejos FC's players were relieved. Wilfredo Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Llorienzo in the 84th minute of the match. Wilfredo Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Gutierrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Amadeo Prejun came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Galarza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Prejun couldn't finish the play. If Delmar Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galarza's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
